For the first time in ages I started my day (possibly upsetting my neighbours ) blasting out Roxy Music Editions of You . It was like a gust of wind blowing away all the old cobwebs !! Great way to start the day with a tune . What tunes have you played this morning ?

  • Hello Angela, I have not played any music this morning. However, I am a radio buff early mornings. I listened to the masquerade suite by Khachaturian. So uplifting, good to be alive music. A great stress buster. Garviv

  • Garviv i just listened to the 1st movement the Waltz and it was so powerful and intense, so full of hope . I loved it. It reminded me of being in my twenties and waltzing around my brothers garden at a summer bbq , a lovely happy memory. Thanks for giving me a new sound, I have very little knowledge of classical music , who knows that may change.

    Much love Angela x

  • Quite agree about blasting out some tunes for them cobwebs….. I have lots I enjoy but my go to for all occasions is Mezzoforte’s Garden Party, always worth a blast

  •   Hi Angela I am listening to Jonny Walker’s story in his own words on BBC Sounds. Great DJ, who passed a couple of days ago. As I boy I listened to him on my transistor radio DJing on radio Caroline. Leo

  • Glad you liked it Angela. I will send you a few more suggestions that I find calming, stress relieving and joyous. I have assembled a playlist on Spotify which is a go to if Radio 3 or Classic FM is off mark. Still love my Americana, Rock and Blues music though. Garviv
