As above really just felt like sharing. He’s due to have scans and cystoscopy to check due to reoccurring urine infections.
He is in his 80’s and has a few health problems and Chronic kidney disease.
He had a cystoscopy many years ago and had to be held down by 2 nurses that time, spoke to hospital and told them he had it before and they said they would look at GA, but he can’t so would have to be an epidural.
Appointment is on Monday for scan and possible cystoscopy.
He has been constantly getting urine infections for several weeks now and some non visible blood in his urine and also passed a small blood clot a while ago and didn’t think to mention that to my mum at the time.
Or rather he was n a 2ww referral, had to ring hospital yesterday as no appointment had been made and now he’s in Monday as something didn’t happen the hospital had to speak to the doctors as they had no referral for him. They rang him today asking him to come in Monday.
Just got to wait and see what they find or don't find. But it could also be related to his chronic kidney disease as well possibly.

Well he had his appointment yesterday.
Cystoscopy showed no tumours or anything to be worried about so that is great news.
Also had a CT scan with contrast medium so awaiting results from that.
But doesn't explain why he's getting constant urine infections or the small blood clot he passed recently.
So I guess if the CT scan doesn't show anything he may need a euretoscopy next to check his kidneys maybe.
