  • Hi Ah2010 , welcome to the forum where I hope you find us helpful and friendly. I dont have any answers regarding your thigh pain ( i have had 3 turbt) but didnt want your question to go unanswered. I am sure someone will be along soon to give you their experience. Have you had the results of your turbt and a follow up plan ?

    Much love Angela x

  • Hi  . Sorry to hear you are still in some discomfort. A TURBT wound usually heals within 6 weeks, but can last  longer, especially if things have been aggravated by overdoing things. We do hear of  random aches and pains with no real reason. Have you had your results from your TURBT yet ? Also. have you been allocated a CNS who are usually the best people to talk to? Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • Hi yes I have urachal cancer advanced, I've been told possible next steps but nothing solid as I've been referred to guys in London and they are talking over my case tomorrow, possible bladder removal and chemotherapy

  • Hi Ah2010, you have had a tough time being given such worrying news and then pain in your thigh making things worse. All I can think is maybe the muscle got strained when they were moving you around under anaesthetic, but that's just a guess. Definitely talk to your allocated nurse (Cancer Nurse Specialist) about the pain it's causing once you meet your Guy's team. Guys is well known as a great hospital so I'd be glad to benefit from their expertise. Fingers crossed for you. Let us know how things go? Best wishes Hx

  • I had a pain, numbness and burning sensation in my right thigh after my 2nd to last TURBT

I think a nerve got trapped during the procedure, when I had my next one I mentioned it to the surgeon and he must have untrapped it because it is much better now

    Much love, Tina x
