Good evening my beautiful family..
so Friday night I went to pick up Mrs Nigel from the hospital, (physio )
she said let’s just pop into curry’s for a look around,
an hour later, a tv, washing machine and cooker were ordered….all needed to be honest…
after the 10 months we have had I think we deserve it…
took today off work thinking it would be a lovely chill out day…Mrs Nigel took me shopping again…
I think it’s fair to say she’s happy with my health at the moment…lol…
We are sitting in bed eating chocolate oranges…
funny ish story….had an early start in the week…now I wasn’t feeling great due to the winter bug….its 3am, I had a shower, thought rather then use spray deodorant I would use Mrs Nigel’s roll on…pitch black I took it out of her wardrobe and rolled it on…within seconds I realised that I put on her deep heat roll on for her shoulder….ouch…
love to all Nigel xxx
Hi Nigel
so nice to read your words I thought it was just me who has used these sort of trips out spending money to bring some normality back if it needs replacing get it done is my attitude these days as once it’s done the feeling is great it’s like your shedding weight of the things that are on your mind but never quite get round to do so far this year we’ve replaced the kitchen bought a new tv and a new sofa it helps keep the mind focused and relaxed pal
Ste
100% Ste, my favourite line used to be “ I’ll do it tomorrow “ now if it needs doing I do it straight away…how you getting on…im in the best place I’ve ever been….this week was rough with the winter bug..sent my anxiety through the roof…enjoying my free time before BCG round two…
Hi Nigel
yes I’m good not back at the hospital till next year now March infact but as we know it can be a difficult journey this so not counting my chickens just taking it a appointment at a time seeing how I feel day to day that’s all I can do at the moment so far so good on the day to day still watching the urine like a hawk I guess that will never go away to be honest but it’s not a bad thing as being vigilant is key glad things have settled down for you Nigel and you and the mrs are finding time to do the normal things in life all the best pal
Ste
Ste, the checking the loo is my normal life now…on my last phone appointment I was told I have to keep moving and if there is blood in the wee it’s to be expected…it’s still a shock when it happens, enjoy your time off…with hindsight I’m sort of glad I’m being checked up on, the peace of mind is worth the panic building up to results ect… every now and again I steal a little look at Mrs Nigel, I can see the life back in her eyes…to see her smiling and laughing makes me happy..
love to all Nigel xx
Hi Nigel
We definitely need a "LOL" button on here
I do love a bit of retail therapy but my Mum was the best. Just after my parents got married in the 50s they went shopping for an electric fire and came home with a dog called Yogi . My in-laws once went shopping for a kettle and came home with a caravan.
Love Ade xx
Hi Trevor, yep she has exercises to do, but I’ll make sure we get them done…I did see a lovely TV, but £3800:is a bit out of my price range…hahahaha
armpits are good thank you…hahaha you know when you think the whole world is against you, it was one of those weeks…
