Hello, I’ve had a non stop week since having my BCG last Tuesday. I felt OK following the first 24 hours following the treatment, even managed to watch PNE v Sunderland Wednesday evening- good game! Golf and Curry night on Friday. Peri- Peri chicken with spicy chickpeas. Saturday and Sunday replaced towel heating radiator in downstairs bathroom. Monday had a new Boiler fitted so lots of radiator filling and bleeding for the engineer. Came across stuff in the garage I had forgotten about. Golf and BCG treatment today. Relaxing tonight watching All Creatures Great and Small. Garviv
Oh my Garviv, I'd be pleased to manage half of your schedule and that's without being mid-BCG!! Shows how successfully you are coping with the treatment, I always think good energy levels = good health, so the best indication that all is going well. 4 months on from my hip replacement I'm walking without a stick, getting out in my garden (I cut my top lawn this weekend, first time behind a mower for 18 months) and with the sun out again this chilly morning, feeling full of joy. Thank goodness for BCG, new hips and the NHS. Hx
Morning H, well done you have made really good progress. I’m so pleased for you. I agree keep busy and interested. Yes I played golf yesterday 9.00am frost on my windscreen but wrapped up and enjoyed the winter sun. Stay well. Garviv
Hi Garviv, I have just caught up with your post, can see you have been super active . PNE game was good , i watched it on the telly box. All creatures is just the best, I just love all of the characters.
I am sorry to hear last night was rough for you, hopefully things will get better quickly. Btw, if there is an open mic night at your local , you should have a go at stand up, you are funny
Much love Angela x
Loved the reference to one of my favourite Beatles songs. Will try and emulate your industry today - have had a bad cold for 10 days but have done my daily walk and need to sort out some dead hanging baskets, before the sun disappears. Then there's the washing plus Pilates and a webinar. Better get going.
All the best
