Bleaching

Rob R . Hi Nigel. I never had BCG so not much help, but the bleaching does sound a bit of a palaver. Small price to pay though in order to keep others safe. I hope all goes well with the rest of your treatment without too much discomfort. Best wishes.

I do it for the 6 hour's. Thankfully bleach is cheap eh.

Hi Nigel, I was told 6hours too

I was told for six hours the first year but then last year some nurses said just the first time. I do it for as long as I can now but maybe not six hours anymore. 

Hi Nigel, I put a big load of bleach in the loo, and pee into that - not changing it every time. Then let the bleach do its work, and flush. I change the bleach around the 3 hour mark. I use a couple of cupfuls in this approach each time. We have several loos, and one is the designated BCG loo for this purpose. I then put the rubber gloves on and clean the whole bathroom and floor after 6 hours. Leo
