We are getting a short 5 day in Berlin at the beginning of July. I have never been so quite excited. I haven't had a holiday in 4 years and its about time

That is a good shout actually. I love rick stein. There is so much to see in Berlin it will probably mean a 2nd trip haha

Hello Angela, my daughter and husband are flying to Munich for four days today( work and play) Not Berlin I know but I will try and get feedback re Germany.  In the meantime we are living at their house to look after two of our seven grandchildren and a very lively springer spaniel. Auf Wiedersehen Garviv
