Hi Leo1 . An interesting read. It seems improvement rates have a lot to do with modern trends such as less people smoking and earlier detection rates. I think with bladder cancer though, we lack behind others in early detection. We see it too often here. Better awareness is the key. Best wishes.
Better training for GP's particularly for women patients would be one step. My GP's failed to diagnose for 3 years despite 3 visits all complaining of blood in urine.
I think that is absolutely right. I think ignorance and dare I say it bias at work. I am appalled by some of the stories on here.
