BCG Complication

Hi Anon_for_patient . We know BCG can cause various side effects and some people are unable to complete the course. It is always worthwhile being checked for any infection. Hopefully the cystoscopy can get to the cause of the problem. Best wishes.

Thanks Rily. He is going to have the urine catherer bag again as its badly affecting his sleep. More tests for the urine culture + cystcopy being scheduled now. 

Hi again, there was another round of Urine Culture done and it came back as negative. 

He is on Urine catheter and admitted for another round of Cystoscopy. He also has Constipation. 

I have been doing some reading online and learning that there is something called "Bladder TB" which is a type of infection that a standard Urine Culture won't show. The Bladder TB symptoms looks to be the same as UTI (except there is no fever). 

I am hoping the Doctors would know about these and would be investigating - but wondered if you know anything about Bladder TB causing urine frequency being higher and constipation including pain / anything around this area?
