Hello Layeney, Any initial cancer diagnosis is worrying. You will find out soon that once his treatment plan begins things get clearer and not as frightening. You will find here on this site many people who are still going after many years of tests and treatment. Good luck Garviv
Hi Layeney,You won’t have done anything wrong.Your husband will be worried and coming to terms with his diagnosis.Emotions and moods can be all over the place at the beginning.Sending a big virtual hug to you and I hope things improve soon.Love Jane x
Hi Layeney, I often think that partners have a worse time than patients. Quite reasonably you are terribly worried but yours is the supporting role and it can be sooo hard to get it right. Once you are told the treatment plan things will feel easier for you both. Be kind to yourself. Sending love H x
The initial period after hearing this diagnosis is very difficult (I know from recent experience). Give him some space and ensure additional information is accessible to him. After the initial shock comes the realization that our lives are now changed, likely permanently, as we live between diagnostic procedures and treatments. Things will calm down in the subsequent weeks. Please continue to be patient.
