Recently had a ct to check that my kidneys were all ok, vr scan came back saying that the kidneys were fine but they have noticed a small liver cystic lesion that was on my last ct (3 months ago) but seems to have got very slightly bigger so was sent for an mri scan to check it. I’m so so worried about it, can’t believe my luck! First diagnosed bladder cancer that has sisncw been removed by Turbt and now this! I’m so scared about it, I was booked in for the MRI so quickly which is worrying in itself and the fact that it’s got slightly bigger! Anyone else had similar and it turned out to be ok??? Xx
Hi MillyMand . It is always worrying when they find these extra things. Try not to overthink the timing of the MRI scan. These appointments are usually arranged by admin rather than doctors and it is a case of availability. The positive is whatever they have identified will be followed up. Best wishes.
