Hi everyone, hope you’re all doing ok!

I had a Turbt about a month ago, diagnosed as TA G2, no treatment required have to go back for a scope in sept and I have a ct scan in about a week.

I have suddenly started experiencing shooting pains in the left side of my bladder (where my tumour was) had no pain before and no dodgy healing side affects. I’m now panicking that it’s come back!

Has anyone else had pains at this stage and it was nothing? I also had a stabbing feeling now and then in my urethra but that’s stopped the last couple of days?!

  • Hi  . Sorry to hear you are having some pain. It is not unusual to experience some sort of pain following a TURBT and it is always worrying. There is always the chance you have aggravated the wound but always best to check in the the medics to check. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • Hi MillyMand, I've had the stabbing feelings in my urethra after Turbts and even after cystoscopies I always think that's normal soreness after something has been poked into it. But in fact I've never had pain in my bladder even when I had the initial huge tumour Slight smile If it were me I'd be ringing my CNS and asking her advice, likelihood is it will be nothing but always better to check it out. Sending love Hx

  • Things that’s most worrying is because it’s just started, a month later which is weird…or maybe it’s not?!

if it’s still there tomorrow I’ll call
