So had my TURBT done via spinal block was absolutely petrified but got through it. The surgeon said what he has removed is tiny and now hes looked again hes not so sure it is anything sinister however has sent it off said i will hear in about 4 weeks. He said if it is anything looks non invasive and will most likely be camera checks so fingers crossed. Im having to be discharged with a catheter until monday as he said where he has removed the lesion right at bladder neck/urethra its going to be too painful for me to pass urine.
Hi Emmaj00 . It all sounds very positive. Unlikely catheter will get blocked, especially if you are drinking plenty. Take it easy for a few days and you should be fine. Best wishes.
