Bladder pain

Hi Tina, I didn't experience any pain in my bladder from my 27 BCGs, but I did get cystitis like symptoms sometimes. Do you have a CNS? When I was worried about anything I called my CNS and she was incredibly helpful. Happy Christmas to you x

Hello Tina, I also had 15 BCG treatments. My last one was September 2021. It left me with chemical cystitis which to this day I still have some pain and discomfort from. I had a biopsy done in July this year (because my bladder was inflamed) and saw the surgeon on the follow up he said that the biopsies were negative, thankfully. The pain and discomfort, which does vary from time time, is purely down to the bcg. He assured me that over time it will eventually go, it just seems to be taking an extra long time.

1. I know what you eat and drink have a big say in what causes the problem. I do leave alcohol alone and drink water like there's no tomorrow. I do hope you improve but it's not unusual to have these symptoms.

Thank you for your reassuring reply .. the pain I get is luckily not really bad but I was concerned about it ..I suppose the bcg treatments can cause side effects long term to some people..I find if I'm sitting down for a while and get up the pain will come for a short while  ..once I start walking I'm fine ..I will keep an eye on my eating and drinking habits to see if there is a connection ... thank you take care love Tina xx
