Morning All
Hope someone may be able to help please.
My partner had a TURBT op, 5 weeks ago, and we get results tomorrow. But just looking at the notes, that the Hospital sent to GP.
He didn't have the Chemo Rinse, Micromysin, I think Its called. Apparently, the surgeon advised, that there were 2, 1cm Tumours, and a deep restructure. Showing muscle and fat, and so, they weren't able to give him, the chemo rinse. Obviously, tomorrow, we will know the results. But just wondered if anyone knew, what this could mean ?
Many Thanks In advance for your help

Hi em444. If they cut deep to take muscle samples, then they cannot do the chemo wash for fear of it seeping through and getting in to the blood stream. This is not uncommon. When your partner gets the results tomorrow, you will then know the outcome and any treatment plan. I hope it goes well. Best wishes.
Welcome to the group. None of us are medical experts and would be unwise to speculate on the results or next steps. Your partner might be offered choices of treatment, in which case there will likely be someone here who has had one or other & can give first hand experience. Worth taking en & paper, to take notes, or even record conversations with the consultant, if permitted.
