Hi Maw86, So sorry for your loss. guess you're the same vintage -86- as our eldest. Bit different though as she only has one 6-year-old. I have got into watercolour painting a bit through carers' zoom workshops in lockdown and now practising once a week at carers' art group. I tend to stick to what I can pull off a bit passably ie landscapes and flowers, not graduated to buildings yet never mind faces! As kids we did lots with raffia, mats, napkin rings; dolls clothes from old socks..
Spent years doing pottery/ceramics but no adult ed places near me do it any more, such a shame as it is SOOO therapeutic for anyone and everyone.
What kind/s of dance do you like? I loved learning ballroom and latin as an 18-year-old but no way my worn-out knees would do it now.

Hi Maw86. I'm 63, originally from Somerset, I moved to the Isle of Man for 12 years, now I live in the Scottish Highlands. I'm a computer engineer also a photographer & drone pilot. I used to play guitar in my younger days & hadn't played on 30 years. At the encouragement of my wife, I recently bought a guitar & have started playing again. I'm really rusty. Favourite things (not in any order), playing music, listening to music, reading, country walks, photography. Ohh, plus Coojee my darling pusscat.
Hello Maw 86, I live in Walton Le Dale, Lancashire with my lovely wife. I am 72 years young and enjoy ( I play four to five rounds per week), I love travelling in the UK and Europe, cooking, especially Indian and Bangladeshi curries and Spanish Tapas. Walking our fourteen year old chocolate Labrador, gardening, DIY and evenings out at restaurants or pubs with friends. Most of all I love my two children and four grandchildren. Garviv
