Hi all,
Has results this morning from 2nd TURBT op that was almost 3weeks ago.
Original diagnosed as PTa G2 low grade after first TURBT.
Now there is no evidence of cancer in the samples of bladder muscle.
So they have decided that it is best to give me a 6 week course of mitomycin into the bladder. Followed by a cystoscopy check after 6 weeks then on a regular basis for next few years.
So overall this is the best result I believe I could get.
I must say a big thanks to all on this forum for the help, not just with me but also with others as reading other posts did help me.
After the initial cystoscopy that showed I had bladder cancer I did consider all the bad possibilities, as is a human thing to do. Bit talking about it with close family and friends helped.
I have been lucky to have caught it early, and I cannot praise the NHS enough for their care for me.
Everyone's journey is different with cancer, not all will be as lucky as I seem to have been.
But there is help and trying to be positive I believe helps.
Good luck to everyone with your journey for a positive outcome.
My journey isn't over and I will keep on here.
Thanks all
Tomsk

Brilliant news. You will get to know the urology nurses when you have your infusions. My team have been so supportive, they definitely boosted my confidence in positive long term outcomes. Sending best wishes H x
