8 weeks since my RC and Iam finally wearing trousers with a belt but my stoma is right on my trouser line so if i fit my bag inside my trousers it cuts of my supply from my kidneys so my bag is full at the top but empty at the bottom .Apart from wearing my bag outside my trousers any advice please
Hi Tomas. Good to know your recovery is going well, but your belt problem sounds a bit awkward. I hope somebody comes along with some advice. Best wishes.
My.husband is 8 weeks post op and has exactley the same problem. The only solution at the moment is to leave the bag outside the trousers and wear his shirt over the top. Not ideal.as he always tucked his shirt in his trousers before but we can find no other solution at the moment
My stoma is also pretty much on the trouser line. I do wear belts occasionally, such as with my Rohan waterproof trousers, I use a Rohan elasticated belt. For regular going out, I wear casual Rohan trousers with a tie waist. For at home, I wear Hamilton Hare "joggers" also with a tie waist.
