Blood in urine and red patches found during cystoscopy

Hi Kebab. It can happen sometimes when these things turn out to be benign, or non cancerous, but unfortunately not very often. I think you are waiting for your biopsy results and have to wait a few weeks. When your results are through, things will become a lot clearer. If it does turn out to be bladder cancer, then be aware it can be treated successfully. Many of us will  know hard it is to get the thoughts out of your head, but many of us have been there, and still here. Best wishes.

Hi Kebab, the symptoms you describe are typical of bladder cancer. My symptom in 2017 was blood in urine and then the scan showed up a large tumour. Nonetheless I'm still here enjoying my life. There are many different grades and stages, some of which can be managed just with regular observation and a range of very successful treatments where this is needed. My fingers are crossed that you will get a completely all-clear but if you don't all is not lost. Hx

I’m so sorry you lost your husband to cancer.Keep posting here as it’s a friendly group and we are here for help and support.Most people agree that the waiting is the worst,the uncertainty is awful.Do you have supportive family/friends ? Morning hospital told me 4 week follow up for results is this about the normal? Brain is thinking oh well if it was bad news I'd be told quicker than that

Hiya did u get ur results hunny don't mean to be insensitive but I'm going for a cystoscopy 23rd and I'm absolutely bricking it!
