Hi all due to have my last chemotherapy tomorrow then my oncology nurse said I have to wait another six weeks for a camera in the bladder again. The side effect I had were annoying vomiting, sickness, dizziness, hair loss. Glad it's coming to an end now just hope it did the trick. I three ops to remove the tumour back in Jan, Feb and march.
Hello Lawrence, I haven't experienced chemo for bladder cancer as I had BCG instillations. However I have experienced chemo for another illness. I agree it makes you feel down but I always try to remain positive and expect tomorrow to be better than today. You are on the back end of your treatment so things will get better, try and not feel down, easy to say I know but we've all been there in some form or another. You will get out the other side and as you say back to a degree of normality. Stay positive, take care.
Thanks much appreciated just a bit apprehensive about the check in six weeks
Congrats on reaching the end of chemo. Six lovely hospital free weeks for you now, hopefully plenty of sunshine and plenty of relaxation. Of course you will worry about your next flexi, I always worry about mine but I try to forget it until the week it is due. 48 hours of anxiety is better than 6 weeks. Sending you warm wishes. H x
