Hi All,

hope everyone is doing okay.

i bit of question I had bladder removed in December 21 had a CT scan in the January 22 which showed no cancer, then in February I took flesh eating bug which resulted in and few CT scans and mri scans again no cancer was showing at this time. I’m due to have my 3 monthly scan and check up in June. My question does anyone know or heard how long after RC can cancer show up in Lymph nodes ? I don’t know why but I’m just getting paranoid.

Hi ClaireN21,From what I have read most recurrences tend to happen within the first 2 years.With what you have been through lately it’s bound to make you more anxious.Good luck for your next scan.Love Jane xx

My word you have been through the wars. However, as winkers has said, it's usually two years, but that's not set in stone. I'd just go by the number of all clear results. If your clear on your next check up the closer your getting to it not coming back (Well that's what I do) and try to enjoy the time in between.
