Hi all

Thanks so much for all your kind thoughts.

op went ok and came home same day but had an awful night. The pain and burning going to toilet has been really painful.

I’ve been doing 2 litres of water but I still feel dehydrated.Hope it might pass soon .The pain has eased a bit but feel washed out.

Hope all is well with everyone and again thank you all so much

best wishes x

  • Hi . Good to know you are home same day. The pee pain may last a few days unfortunately, but should subside gradually. Probably the anaesthetic making you feel washed out. I had a procedure a couple of weeks ago and felt a bit groggy for a day or so. The water helps to get it out of your system. Bit of a wait now for results, so hopefully all will be well. Best wishes.

    Best wishes to All,   rily.

  • Hi Waffledog,I saw your post in the ask a nurse section.I’m sorry you have a urine infection.Do you get a sample sent to the lab each time ? It might be that you are not on the right antibiotics.Alternatively your body may have become so used to certain antibiotics that they no longer work. Some infections are stubborn and may require stronger antibiotics or longer courses.Lemon barley water can help and cranberry juice or tablets.Cranberry juice can be too sharp if your bladder is sore but taken in pill form instead may be gentler.I hope you feel better soon.Love Jane x
