Nice one Garviv - I phoned and she said I was on list,  for investigation and removal if need be, but there was no date.

She said would you like it done soon - I have a cancelation for 18th JANUARY,  I also have to go to Chorley hospital on the 15th for COVID swab and then isolate until I go in..

So this is good thank you.   I am puzzled, this is normally done on Longton ward but this time Rawcliffe - who cares though? I am getting it over with   Thank's again, huge help.

  • Good afternoon ern007 , I’m booked in for TURBT on January 17th . So far as I’m aware this will be going ahead . My COVID test is on January 14th. This will be in Lincolnshire. Regards, John.

Hello good luck john. I was getting concerned as I had my pre op early December, and was on the list with no date, now I got a cancelation so of I go for number 2 - My hospital in Lancashire I was told is a Green"  meaning no COVID, so unlikely to be cancelled.  Ernest

  • Hello ern 007. Great news. I usually am booked in on Longton ward for procedures. In December last year uI had a superficial tumour removed from my bladder but was allocated to another ward in Chorley but had the operation at Longton unit and transferred back to ward to recover. So don’t worry about Radcliffe ward. Glad to help. This forum is wonderful for advice Garviv
