Hi there,
Just need a sounding board really. My Dad has had complications since having his initial bladder removal back in September. He was due for another op for the cancer which had spread outside of the bladder. This was due for the 5th January. Unfortunately this has been cancelled today due to covid staff shortage and having to close an operating theatre at the hospital. It has been rescheduled for the 10th. My dad is in great pain every single day and I feel his life is in the balance everyday he has to wait further, until there is are N.H.S staff and theatre time available.
It’s all so frustrating, scary and upsetting.
Sending you love Pound Puppy. We understand how upsetting delays are. Deep breaths and fingers crossed. Do you have a CNS contact to seek help for his pain? Otherwise possibly GP. There is no need for him to be suffering while you wait for an op.xxx
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
