Im still desperately trying to decide whether to have a cystectomy. My wife has been sharing facebook posts of people with complications. What sort of issues should i expect living with a stoma?
Sorry, I have neo so can't advise re stoma. Do you know what facebook group she's looked at? There is a fightbladdercancer group which is very active. However, it is really important to appreciate that people with problems post to get advice/answers. Those who don't have problems generally have no particular need to post. Though I suspect you could find plenty of posts from people really happy with how they are managing. Best wishes trying to convince her that all will be well.
