Just want to say a word for the Macmillan coaching scheme. I took part in it earlier this year and was really worthwhile, combination of counselling and lifestyle tips and not intrusive.
In my own case, due to some complications post surgery I only finally started to get things together about a year ago. The coaching sessions helped me get my experiences into perspective and learn to live with them rather than fear. Yes, I still get moments of anxiety, but I live a more fuller life.

I thought I'd advise members who may be interested that Macmillan Well-being Coaching Service is temporarily closed for new applications so I've copied below from the Web page.
We've had huge demand for our Well-being Coaching service. We're currently at capacity and are not able to take any more referrals now.
