Hi,Finally I’ve had a letter with the results of the CT scan done in April.Good news,it’s clear of cancer.I’ll be followed up with a phone appt in 6 mths after a blood test to check kidney function. The next scan will probably be next May.Love to you all Jane xx

  • I'm so late with all my garden planting this year, I had to get out and crack on today. I'm knackered now :) Well done for watching Wimbledon, best thing if you feel a bit off colour. Did you see the standing applause the tennis crowd gave the Oxford Astrozenica team? Their lead woman Dame Sarah is incredibly modest but she was touched I think. Hope you feel better tomorrow. x

  • I missed the ovation but saw Dame Sarah on another clip.My aunt brought some marigolds she had grown which I still haven’t planted. My neighbours wild flower meadow is coming on well, attracting wildlife.I’m feeling better just tired thanks.Happy gardening.Love Jane x

  • Hi

I felt like sorting the beds today so popped out and bought lots of lovely plants......

Only trouble is I bought too many! Now I can't even give them away. Hee hee

Enjoy the garden. Hubby has day off tomorrow, we're heading to the coast for fish and chip supper. Then moving the daughter and my munchkins into their new home at the weekend.

    Sending love

  • If you want to give plants or most things away try Freecycle and Freegle, you could make some new friends... oh for the coast and a fish and chip supper. My family never went in for fish and chip suppers when we stayed with grandparents at Whitstable and anyway we could go back there for tea. But wonderful memories of a few school trips when I worked in Special Needs Dept taking some very deprived teenagers for often their first sight of the sea and F'n'C supper before getting on the coach home.

Hopefully your daughter and munchkins will find new happiness in the new home and it will put a little distance between them and sad memories.

  • I hope the move goes smoothly Clare.I miss living by the coast.Fish & chips seem tastier eaten by the sea.Have a nice day out.Love Jane x

  • Hi

I'm going to put the plants on the village community page, I'm sure someone will want them. They could even go in the village flower boxes that have just been painted.

I don't live near the sea since moving up to Leicestershire but I don't mind a drive out amd good old chit chat with hubby on the way. Sea air is healing for the soul I think.

I'm soooooo looking forward to the move, they will be in the next village so only 4 miles away. I'm not looking forward to fitting the 18 venetian blinds she has bought! I've never known a house have so many windows! Ha ha....

    Sending love
