My mom just had PET scan, bladder cancer has came back, had bladder removal back in March, it's in her lymph nodes, she also has lung cancer they found another nodule.
Hi Kahernandez70, this is such shocking news for you and your family. You must be feeling devastated that after surgery the cancer has still returned. I hope you will get the best possible support from your mother's medical team and some reassurance about the care which will be available for her. Sending you love at such a hard time. xxx
Yes I'm so overwhelmed with emotions, my mom is only 68 but has slight dementia as well. Dr has taken such good care of her but is not suggesting chemo treatment or radiation at this point which we've avoided but I just wrap my head around the whole thing, I mean when they told me took out lymph nodes that had highly aggressive cancer cells in them i thought ok well their gone we will be ok, now 6 months later here we are.
