Hi. I had my fourth turbt procedure 10 days ago. All went well and had 5 new growths removed from the dome of bladder and catheter for one week which has now been removed.
To my surprise absolutely no pain or discomfo6 peeing.
My problem is the under side of my penis feels so tender when I lift it or get up from a chair. Also unbelievably tender in the morning when I wake with an erection. Pain is to underside only and I would say 8 out of 10 and only when touched.
I cannot honestly remember this level of discomfort. Anyone else experienced this.
Thanks Steve
Hi Steve. Not experienced this myself, but the question has come up on here in the past. Sometimes the TURBT procedure can irritate the lining of the urethra and takes a while to heal. Long term catheters are also known for causing this type of pain. If it doesn't ease off, then check with the medics. Do you have a CNS to call ? Also, it may be wise to drop a urine sample off at your GP to rule out any infection which is also common following catheters. Best wishes.
Hopefully no infection but will drop water sample in at the GPs as you suggested.
Regards. Steve

Hi Steve, I had a pain right at the tip of the penis that lasted a few weeks following my last flexi. Consultant told me it was irritation at the bladder exit from the trauma and the pain travels to the end of the penis, maybe similar to your problem. Take care and good luck.
