Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
I know!!! I had to jump through hoops trying to get someone to let me know if it was normal to pee blood when I had just had a change in meds for heart including aspirin, I ended up on the dreaded google for support, where it said aspirin could cause blood in pee, I even had one of the practice nurses tell me over the phone to use a tampon to check where the bleeding was coming from! I told her I was 62 so not really relevant, she then said if I was still bleeding to ring back and ask for an online consult with a dr. I did thank goodness and had a locum ring me a week later who put me straight on the two week referral.
Hope he is doing well now, mine was diagnosed as stable angina, had been on beta blockers for 25yrs as always had high BP, but think all okay now with new meds, I am lucky as not over weight and always been very active, hence why I was able to manage chemo and the nephroureterecromy, mind you I do have white coat syndrome and chemo was always delayed due to BP being sky high.
