Hi All. How is everyone doing? Anyone stuck indoors? Remember, this is a support group, and things don't always need to be medical. There is usually someone here if you just want a chat, a moan, or any stories. My wife has been stocking up on paint, so guess what I will be doing in the near future. Best wishes.
Hi Jane, I do now have a courtesy car which is a relief with no access to public transport. No further action on my battered car except a letter saying that the 3rd party insurers accept liability, they will provide hire car, and their mechanics will organise repairs. In fact I'm pretty sure that because my car is 11 years old, they will offer me a write-off value. Last week I went to a local bodywork specialist who says the chassis is not damaged so hopefully I will be able to keep it on the road. I am grateful for the hire car but slightly terrified when I realised it didn't have a hand brake! There is no key, just a plastic square. It unlocks itself when I walk towards it, and turns it's own lights on. There are 2 computer screens in the dash board. Somehow while I've been herding goats, car world has moved on without me!
Hi H,I’m glad to hear you have a courtesy car.Cars are clever and impressive these days.Fingers crossed you will be able to continue driving your car.My sisters is filthy since she has been living on the farm, inside and out.x
