Hello,
I’m new to this forum. I’ve just had my results back after TURBT and the plan is 6 weeks of intravesical chemotherapy (mitomycin C). I’d really welcome advice on working alongside this treatment. Looking at the side effects I’m anticipating needing a couple of days off each time, but I guess it may vary person to person? Knowing what to do about work is the thing that’s worrying me the most at the moment if I’m honest. I’m also due to start a new job a few days after my last dose, which I’m anxious about (just worried I won’t have the mental energy). Do you tend to get a sense of how you are going to feel from the start of treatment to guide how things will be later on, or can the fatigue and soreness sometimes build up over time? Thank you so much and hugs to everyone.

Hi PeaceLily2 and welcome to the forum. I hope you find it helpful, the folk on here have varied diagnosis and treatment plans. I am sure someone will be along soon to help out with the Mitomycin question and work. I am on BCGtreatment so cant really help you only to say drinking plenty following procedures is the mantra. Hope you keep in touch with the forum, they have steadied me through tough times and always here. Best wishes to you
