My husband was having radical radiotherapy for bladder cancer. Bcg has failed. After 3 sessions he has decided to stop. He is fatigued, has an upset stomach and loss of appetite.
Has anyone else had similar side effects?
Hi JAH0d732e . Sorry to hear your husband is unable to continue his treatment. Has he discussed this with his team? We know fatigue is a common side effect of RT. I felt the effects of fatigue with some bowel problems but after treatment finished rather than during but it did pass and gradually got better. I had a weekly meeting with a doctor during my treatment to check how I was coping. This gave me the opportunity to discuss how things were. I hope he can continue with treatment and all goes well.
