Hi everyone, I hope you are all keeping your spirits up and coping with all this weather .
Well its been 5 and a half weeks and i got a phonecall today about my CT . good news first ; no evidence of any lymph node involvement or metastases. Concerning news is the CT highlighted a thickened area on the right lateral wall of the bladder that is new. Don't know what it is , so having a flexi on Sept 2nd. Don't know how I feel really. Grateful there are no mets and thorax, abdo and pelvis are clear . Confused and a bit scared its a recurrence . Patches seemed easier to cope with, but thickening I wasn't prepared for and haven't heard anyone mention that before on here. Anyhow , two weeks to carryon as though all is ok, I will be fitto burst by the2nd I am sure. As always love to you all
Hi Angela,
All's well here thanks.
Sorry to hear about the issue found on the bladder wall, anything new is so scary.
I've not heard of this before, could this be another symptom of BCG, the inflammation created by the BCG might create this issue?
... Just had a little Google... We know this isn't the best thing, but it does say BCG can cause this (localised inflammation).
Hope you get some proper answers soon.
Wishing you all the best.
Trevor
Morning Angela, good news, bad news! What a journey we are all on. Great to hear about the lymph nodes and meta bases. Let’s hope the flexible cystoscopy on the 2nd September will be good news. Coinidentally on the 2nd September I will be undergoing Laparoscopic Nephrectomic Treatment to remove my left kidney. However, I have a bonus before then on the 24th August a Bronchoscopy and Ebus proce
ure to take biopsies re lesion on my right lung. It’s a hard road that we travel at times. Let’s hope we both have better news and outcomes after our procedures. Torrential rain
️with thundery showers forecast. Do I or do I not go to golf or spend the morning with John Grisham? Stay well and positive X

Morning Garviv, I love your repeat messages , its doubly supportive. It is a scary path at times , putting our trust and faith that all will be ok in the end. The daily self talk to keep us from going to the dark side and trying to be upbeat for the kids and family. We are pretty amazing as humans arent we ?
Garviv , which of the two procedures concerns you more ?I shall be thinking of you on the 2nd and sending you oodles of positive vibes . Keeping busy and staying fit is the mantra for now. Its rainy here, so I am just going to finish off a planter I have made out of an old wooden lounger and pop to the seamstress ( she is amazing) to collect my jeans ready for Sunday when we play Bournemouth . predicting this season will not be great but thats footy. sending you a big hug x
Much love Angela x
