Hello all my lovely fellow travellers, I haven't been online for a while but I've been reading all the posts and hope that everyone is well and coping with the heat!

So! After a very welcome 6 month break from BCG,  a beautifully clear flexi, a heatwave or two and the magical, emotional wedding of my Daughter to my new Son in Law it's now time for another round of BCG. I've got number 19 in the morning and fingers crossed that it's gentle on me. The last round I had in January really took it out of me, but if I can get through the next 3 then I've only got 1 more round in January next year then I can definitely say I've given it my best and hope that's the end of treatment!

Sending  love and positivity to all,  Ade xxx  Sparkles️ Heart️

  • Hi Ade, I am sure you are dreading it a little. I recently did 19-21 and it was no worse than the previous 3 tbh. Hope it goes as well for you. I have found it is just a grit my teeth and endure, it will be finished in 3 weeks. Sounds like you had a lovely break and a joyous wedding. There will still be a chunk of summer and good weather to look forward to when your next 3 are done. Good luck , sending you a hug xx

    Much love Angela x

  • Nice to see a familiar name on here again. Your daughter's wedding sounds wonderful. Lovely memories. Mine was married in  2013, a very 'atmospheric' and magical occasion with heavy snowfall making it a real white wedding. We will also be crossing fingers that the BCG continues to do a superb job for you with bearable manners during the sessions. Love, Ray xx

  • Great to hear from you Ade, I hope today’s gone well…

  • Late to the party but I sincerely hope number 19 was Thumbsup for you. Tomorrow morning is my very first introduction to BCG. I am driving to the hospital but will be spending the two hours + there before driving back home. My drivers seat will have a bed pad on it. Scouts motto ‘Be prepared’. Although I was never a scout. I was a Girl Guide.
