Morning, I had a meeting with my consultant yesterday prior to my surgery on Monday re kidney removal. He told me after reviewing my pet scan they had discovered a small tumour in my right lung which they said was not associated with the tumour in my kidney. Therefore, my operation on Monday has been cancelled and I have been referred to a lung specialist to ascertain a treatment plan. More scans, probing and prodding no doubt! My kidney operation will go ahead when I have finished my treatment on my lung be it an operation, chemotherapy and or radiotherapy. So much to look forward to. I am expecting my invitation to the Hospital Christmas Party any day now. But guess what it’s Friday: golf and curry night. Fiery Chicken Tikka with Aloo Gobi tonight.
