Morning, I had a meeting with my consultant yesterday prior to my surgery on Monday re kidney removal. He told me after reviewing my pet scan they had discovered a small tumour in my right lung which they said was not associated with the tumour in my kidney. Therefore, my operation on Monday has been cancelled and I have been referred to a lung specialist to ascertain a treatment plan. More scans, probing and prodding no doubt! My kidney operation will go ahead when I have finished my treatment on my lung be it an operation, chemotherapy and or radiotherapy. So much to look forward to. I am expecting my invitation to the Hospital Christmas Party any day now. But guess what it’s Friday: golf and curry night. Fiery Chicken Tikka with Aloo Gobi tonight. Listening to an old sampler whist cooking The Rock Machine Turns You On.
Oh bloody hell buddy.
You are properly going through the wringer.
Enjoy the golf and curry.
Hope they get oh too of both of these for you pretty quickly.
