TURBT to remove my tumour from Diverticulum failed

Welcome to the group, many of us know those sort of feelings.  You've got caught up in a whirlwind, with no clear way out. Once you have the path results and a treatment plan, things start to settle down. 

Feel free to ask any questions (though bear in mind we are not medical experts, only expert in our own situations) or just come & chat. We all know that worrying won't help, but it's hard not to. If you can distract yourself with some pleasant activities, the time will pass faster. Exercise and healthy eating are good too. 

Hi FIM,

as Teaswill says there are many of us here who have been in a similar position and know how confusing it all seems at first. But we also have come out of the other side OK and are living an active and enjoyable life. 

Of course from where you are, there are question that can't yet be answered but soon there will be more information and a clear pathway through it all. You'll soon get into the swing of things and your medical  team will be supporting you through it. And we're here as well.

Thank you so very much and yes I am keeping busy I have a 6 month large breed puppy at home I normally live alone with just my new pup but my daughter has been able get leave to be here with me for these 2 weeks and my son and his girlfriend are nearby when she goes to help me with my recovery and puppy but yes I’ve been out walking and enjoying everyday really glad I’m home just feel more tired than normal but getting time to rest with my daughter being here just now

You are in the  horrible early stage of diagnosis but it does tend to get easier emotionally once you have a treatment plan.It’s good that you have some family support and everyone in this friendly group will be on hand to help you through.Love Jane 

Really good to know people who know how I’m feeling and to see that there is positive outcomes I’m ready to do all they say to do to keep being here longer I’ve had many operations from road traffic accidents survived all of those and an abusive marriage brought my 2 kids up on my own I’m disappointed that with the TURBIT that it didn’t all get removed and that they have said it’s in the lymph nodes but without that bleeding last month I would never have known so I know now that it’s just waiting to see what can be done next for me
