I am in hospital as I write this. Multiple tumours found in my bladder. Large tumour could not be removed. Chemotherapy not applied. Bladder was perforated in the process of trying to remove the tumour. Catheter to stay in for 7 days or more to allow bladder to heal. I am devastated.
so sorry this has happened Kenzie, I hope you bladder heals quickly . I can understand you must be feeling devastated, I am sure once they get the results back from samples taken you will have a better idea of what the plan is next. keep i touch and let us know how you are x
Much love Angela x
Dear Kenzie,
I am sorry to hear about this and hope you feel better soon. I had a tumour that couldn't be removed completely at this stage too although was fortunate that they stopped scraping in time. I couldn't have the chemo wash either because it would not have been effective.
However I later had 4 rounds of other chemo followed by bladder removal which was successful and now nearly 3 and a half years on from my TURBT am fighting fit and managing my stoma with ease. In fact I bounced back very quickly from the TURBT and the bladder removal too and have been well ever since so please don't worry. The catheter is a nuisance but will be out soon.
There are many of us here who can say the same. So I hope that helps you see there is light at the end of your tunnel.
All the best,
