I hope this post gives hope to anyone just starting out (at least with a similar diagnosis to mine). I was diagnosed as pTa G1 in June 2021 and had TURBT and a single installation of Mitomycin C. I opted for annual monitoring and have been fortunate enough to remain clear at each check including my 5 year one this morning.
When I was first diagnosed I was very pessimistic — and have suffered from health anxiety since - but things have (so far!) turned out much better than I expected and I would have been encouraged if I had seen a post like this one back then so I hope this helps someone.
Wishing everyone here well with their individual journeys.
