I’m having constant urges every 10-20 minutes during the day and I wake about 6 times per night. I don’t think I’ve urinated more than 120mm at one time and often it’s 10mm. I’m taking mirabegron daily for about 11 days so far but no relief yet. Can anyone relate or help. I’ve spoken to my urologist and he said it could take 6 weeks to get back to normal. I’ve read that I’m not meant to drink coffee and honestly I’ve cut down to 1 cup per day but I feel like a piece of lead without it. I’d so appreciate any help that you can give me. I’m desperate. Thank you so much
oh my goodness Suescared, welcome to this friendly forum. It sounds like you are going through an exhausting time . I cant offer you any advice regarding your urgency and multiple trips to the loo, the only experience i have is following bcg treatment and its relatively shortlived. I do know to keep up with the fluids, many of us on here drink Robinsons lemon barley water but its not for everyone, and I have no evidence that it calms the bladder tbh, but it helps me because i am not a fan of plain water .My heart goes out to you , I am sure someone will be along soon with better advice that may help. I sincerely hope it settles very soon. Take care
Much love Angela x
Sorry to hear you are having a rough time after Mitomycin, it isn't the normal experience most seem to have after it, but it can affect some differently than others.
When I had mine it took me a couple of days to get back to normal and same with my recent Epirubicin treatment.
If you feel something isn't right and after 18 days I'd be asking more questions, have you had a urine test done to make sure you haven't got an Infection or something.
Can't say I've seen many horror stories on here after mItomycin. Not to say it can't happen of course.
I hope you can find some relief soon, just out of curiosity what was your diagnosis as maybe that might explain something or maybe not.
