My husband had bladder cancer . 2 years ago he had his bladder, prostate, left kidney and 7 lymphnodes removed. After 6 rounds of chemo, he was told the cancer was gone. 1 year later, after his C.T. scan, its back. In his lymphnodes. He's having chemo and immunotherapy. Prem and E.V. The scan was 3 weeks ago and last Friday he had his first round.
Has anybody else had this and, if so, how did they cope? We've been told that he'll be on the E.V. for 2 years. It's a new drug with good enough results, but, to date, there aren't many people on it.
Sorry for rambling on.
Hope you're all doing well.
Hi Lbell . Nice to hear from you again. Sorry to see your post slipped by without a reply so far. Not like me to miss anything. As you say, this treatment is fairly new and not a lot of experience of it here. Hopefully someone who has had this will be along to help. I hope all goes well. Keep us posted on progress. Best wishes.
