Brown urine

I did. GP pracitce were brushing it off as infection. I was not happy. I went to hospital and they sent me for CT urogram and cystoscopy. They found this tumour.

My urine was brown and cloudy, wasn't red.

I've had a CT scan back in may without contrast as I cannot have it. They said they would have seen something but I went for the urinal tract and kidneys. I have never had brown urine before I have no UTI  urine test there is no infection or growth so I am worried.

Hi gina62 CT scans are not reliable for detecting bladder cancer. The true first test is a flexible cystoscopy which is a camera in to the bladder. Brown urine is a symptom but can be caused by other things but you still need to have it investigated. Best wishes.
