hi just wanted to know if any one one had a second turbt did they bleed the week after if so when did it stop

Good morning smallfys. Bleeding after TURBT is quite normal. Discarding of the debris and scabs continues for a week or more and has the appearance of bleeding. You may pass blood clots which can be alarming but again quite normal , regards John.

I did on my second TURBT. I was warned about it by the nurses etc, but it's always scary to see when it happens.
On the second week I started passing the scabs ( hope you're not having lunch whilst reading this) as the bladder healed.
Shortly after that I believe the bleeding became less and less.
Although if you're bleeding a lot then I would suggest contacting your CNS, just to be sure.
Drinking lots of water or lemon barley is also very important to help flush our any clogs etc.
