Just a quick question. After my husbands first turbt he was given an infusion of mytomycin. This time the surgeon said it would just be a turbt as they don’t use chemo for a second turbt.
is this what happens to most of you who have had more than one op.? Or NHS saving money?
I would concur with the other comments on here. Mitomycin is usually a one off. It was for me, anyway. 2 TURBTs, Mitomycin, several cystoscopies and 9 bcg treatments later I am in the clear but will persevere with the immunotherapy as recommended as an insurance. I wish your husband good luck with the treatment
