I've had a very strange and stressful two months after being told I had bladder cancer, and having a TURBT on 22nd September to remove the tumour. The procedure went well, and I was told it hadn't spread to my prostate, as was suspected, which was the first bit of good news.
I received more good news today following the biopsy. I was aware that in a very small number of cases, very rarely, bladder tumours can turn out to be benign. Well, it would appear that my tumour was made up of muscle mass with no trace whatsoever of cancer!
It's been such a stressful couple of months, and I'm aware of how rare it is that this happens. I feel so relieved and incredibly lucky!
Thanks to everyone on here who has helped me in some way to navigate this very weird time in my life. I wish you all the very best outcomes for the future. ️
