Still very sensitive

Evening all

I know it’s only been two weeks but it’s still very sensitive when I pee…it had almost gone but it’s getting worse.

Any tips for me.

Nigel xx

  • Hi Nigel,

I find the sensitivity when peeing goes on for a while. All those tubes and catheters going places that shouldn't aren't going to help.

I just drink 2 litres plus of water each day, which makes voiding the bladder easier.

    I think it's just time...

I can feel my bladder is still inflamed 6 months after my last BCG, but it's definitely improving slowly.. Probably not enough yet for me to go back to BCG.

Hope it gets better for you soon.

  • Cheers Trevor,

question…does what you eat affect you?
I’ll just have to suck it up Grinning

  • I don't think it's made a big difference what I eat really.

Although I do avoid really spicy food or at least eating spicy stuff too often.

Saying that I have changed my diet quite a bit since being diagnosed, but that's more to avoid carcagenic foods rather than to help any bladder pain.

I have quite good will power when I stop eating specific foods... Although still like a beer or two....

  • Saying that I found orange Juice played on my bladder quite badly, so gave that up. That's probably the only thing I noticed effected my bladder.

  • Cheers Trevor, I think I may not be drinking enough…tomorrow is another day…

  • I try to have four pints of water a day, unless I'm going out etc, then I try to time the drinking so I don't have to rush too the loo etc, then it's all about timing..

  • yep timing, I drink more in the evening which is why I’m up every couple of hours…

could do with a good nights sleep….
