Hello,
My husband had his bladder and prostate removed 2 weeks ago (15th Sept).
His cancer was found to be ‘high grade undifferentiated tumour with poorly differentiated carcinoma with areas of sarcomatoid and possible focal neuroendocrine differentiation’.
No treatment available other than removal.
He spent a week in hospital and then had 3 nights at home and then 2 nights back in hospital, with a suspected infection (had IV antibiotics then home with oral antibiotics).
I am concerned that his urine bag is still just red with blood (after 2 weeks). Doctors and stoma nurses are aware.
i wondered what other people’s experience of this may be please. How soon the bleeding stopped after the op.
Thank you so much for sharing any experience you have of this.
