I’ve had pta intermediate (grade 2 low) since March 24
i had the tumor removed and check ups.
i have a red patch that was biopsied dec 24 that was benign, the patch was still there in June but consultant decided not to biopsy again.
my worry is how often do these benign patches turn into cis ?
Hi lillydoor . The subject of red patches comes up frequently on here. They are very common and usually turn out to be some form of inflammation caused by treatment. In many cases they are monitored with flexible cystoscopies. Do you have a CNS you can call to discuss your concerns and any future treatment? Best wishes.
I'm not sure that it can turn into CIS, I think that's a different BC that can crop up separately or alongside TCC. TaG2 could progress to G3, which would also have to be taken seriously. The problem with any statistics is that they don't tell you what will happen to you. Easy to say, but worrying about it won't make any difference. Just try to take things step by step and keep up with the regular checks. Best wishes.
