Hi this is my first time posting, not sure if I am doing it right but that will become evident once I have posted. I was diagnosed with T1 high grade in January. After first turpt I got a bacterial infection ecoli, which took 3months and 15 different antibiotics to get rid of. Have just completed the 6th induction bcg with very little side effects. The day after the 6th induction I had the most severe dizziness and vertigo and ended up in hospital. It subsided after 4 days. I read that it was a rare side effect and that’s the only information I can find. Has anyone else suffered this? Was future BCG stopped. Would really appreciate any advice or information.
Hi Pppp4 and welcome to this friendly and supportive group. Sorry to hear you have been feeling the effects of BCG. We see many different side effects of the treatment, but I cannot remember anyone mentioning vertigo. Hopefully someone with experience of this will be along to offer some help. Best wishes.
