Hi my husband has just finished his first 6 weeks of bcg treatment. I’m sure it’s a “man” thing - I know not very pc - but I’m finding it hard to support him as he’s quite a closed stiff upper lip person and my support is sometimes construed as nagging. Any advice would be gratefully received.
Hi Clairel4161 and welcome to this friendly and supportive groups. Good to know your husband has finished his first treatments but sorry to hear it is affecting you as well. Cancer treatment can have varying effects on people . As well as the physical side of things , it can affect the way you think as well. Different people handle it in different ways. Some people are open about the way they feel while others try to keep it to themselves. Difficult to know what to advise but I hope things get better for you both. Best wishes.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
